medpaymap.com is operated by Daniel Beese, a sole trader registered in the United Kingdom, trading as Nomedic. For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), Daniel Beese is the data controller responsible for your personal data.
You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@nomedic.co.uk.
We keep data collection to a minimum. Specifically:
We do not collect your name, your actual salary, or any of the figures you enter into the calculators. Everything you type into the tools is processed in your own browser and is never sent to us or stored.
We use Plausible Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they use. Plausible is privacy-focused: it sets no cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not collect any personal data. Because of this, we don’t need to show you a cookie banner. The analytics we see are anonymous and aggregated — we cannot identify you from them.
If you submit your email to access the advanced calculator, we use it on the basis of your consent. If you ticked the marketing consent box, we may also send you occasional updates from medpaymap.com and Nomedic — new salary data, tools, and stories from doctors who have practised abroad. If you did not tick the box, we will not send you marketing emails.
You can withdraw your consent at any time, either by clicking unsubscribe in any email we send, or by emailing hello@nomedic.co.uk. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
We use Go High Level, a third-party platform, to store our email list and send emails. They process your email address on our behalf as a data processor, under their own security and data protection terms. We do not share your data with anyone else, and we never sell it.
If, in future, we partner with collaborators (for example in Australia) in a way that involves sharing your data, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed or until you ask us to delete it. If you unsubscribe or request deletion, we remove your data promptly, retaining only what we are legally required to (if anything).
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
To exercise any of these, just email hello@nomedic.co.uk.
As this is a beta product, this policy may change as the service develops. We’ll update the date at the top when it does. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be communicated to subscribers where appropriate.
